rhode island trip

we spent the beginning of this week in rhode island with craig's sister, kelly, and her family.  we are so lucky to have them only 2 hours away from us.  craig spent most of his childhood in rhode island so it was fun to see his old stomping grounds.  i have been to RI a few times, and i have to say there really is something magical about it.  plus the cousins get along great and kelly treated us like royalty with delicious food (including crepes with strawberries) and daily naps.  here is a slide show and a couple videos.  enjoy!

video #2...working hard, or hardly working?





before craig became the one in need of elizabeth's medical attention, it was soren's turn.  i came down into the basement to see what they were up to and i nearly wet my pants when i found soren bandaged up in scarves, covered in a blanket with a "lollipop" on his chest and a robin hood hat on.  the best part was that he was not moving a muscle the entire time.

We should have called you - we have been back east this whole week...staying in Connecticut, drove thru Rhode Island, saw Boston, saw NYC. It's been a fun & exhausting week! We're not used to this humidity though!

great update Annie- we all watched each video a few times. love the "nerd alert" on the beach- caption and action is hilarious!! very sad that we aren't spending the summer with you guys again but glad you are having fun!
