fakin' it
i'm not sure if you got the memo, ladies---but yesterday was "pretend mother's day". or maybe that was only for those women whose significant other planned a 5 day hiking trip that would prevent a real mother's day celebration from occurring. but, for the record, pretend mother's day kicks the pants off of the real mother's day for sure. craig really spoiled me. we had a fantastic dinner at trulucks in austin and then he pulled out the big guns when he presented me with one more farewell tour of the lake austin spa resort----aka the most amazing place on earth. thanks, craig. you are a rock star.

That sounds like a FABULOUS mother's day - yay for you! :) What kind of treatments did you have done at the spa?
i haven't gone yet but i am getting a massage and a facial--and then they serve you a super yummy lunch. i am excited.
Oh, I'm very jealous, especially since I know, first hand, what you will be in for at Lake Austin...bragger :)

I want a "pretend mother's day"! Normal mother's day around here starts with Church and ends with a nap on the couch. That's about it!
