so...little miss will be 6 months old on friday. she is still a tiny peanut (4% for weight and 5% for height) and has not even grown out of her 0-3 months size clothing yet. i can't even begin to tell you how amazing this little girl is. she has absolutely changed my life and changed our family forever. the biggest development for evy is that she is now eating her first foods. the first meal went something like this...
mom, this is weird...
why is this happening?
wait a minute...
i love it!!!
she took to eating like a champ and loves every bite. so far she has had rice cereal, oatmeal, applesauce and butternut squash. i am having so much fun with it and am determined to make all of her food for her instead of buying it at the store. she is working on sitting up and using her voice...she has become very giggly and squealy! because the weather is so nice we have been taking lots of walks together to pick up the boys after school.
sy had his cub scout pine wood derby a couple saturdays ago and we all had so much fun. he and his daddy created a great looking byu car (sy named his car "cougar roar") and it turned out to be the 6th fastest out of about 33 cars. he did well enough to qualify him for the district race in april. he won 2 trophies...one for having the fastest wolf car in his den and the other for coming in 3rd for most artistic. this was all a big surprise for daddy who while working on the car at 3:30am the morning before the weigh in caused some damage he would classify as "major". here are some photos of the big event.

the boys have both started music lessons, soren chose piano and sy chose guitar. they will be starting baseball and t-ball soon and we are really excited for that. we have had a great month and are looking forward to our easter vacation in palm springs!

Your baby is darling! Isn't having a girl just so much fun!?
I didn't know you were in Amanda's ward. It was fun to see more familiar faces in your pictures.
I was just going to say the same thing as Lindsay - I didn't know you & Amanda were in the same ward! How fun - what a small world!
So fun...she is such a baby doll--I love the tiny ones!
She is a little peanut and still looks exactly like Soren..adorable. Fun to hear what the boys are up to also
Really cute Annie!! Love the play by play of Evy's eating- she should be an actress with those little hands out like that :)Awesome car Sy (and Craig)!! ... and great showing in the race:) Can't wait to see you all very soon
I love this post and love seeing pictures of tiny Evy. She is the cutest. Very cool cougar roar!
That baby girl is still just adorable! And I'm sure with all the yummy food you're whipping up for her, she'll put on the pounds in no time.. :-)
