new house part 2

here are a few more photos...

this is the guest room which will be seeing a lot of guests when this baby arrives.  it is missing a headboard that i ordered in july...it is being delivered next thursday.   backorder is lame.

 this is the baby's room!

this room was originally an office so there is no closet.  i found this awesome armoire to use to hang cute girly stuff in.  and, yes, that is a tutu and fairy wings hanging on the wall.  duh!
i found this table at an antique store in town and was (am) obsessed with it.

and now for a color palette change...we have the boys' room.
both upstairs bedrooms have these awesome built in shelves.  the boys spent hours decorating their parts of the shelves...and i let them go to town!

they are also very proud of their newly acquired bed making skills...
this is their awesome bathroom...with a little basket of pink towels thrown in...
that is it for now.  i am only missing the sewing room which is still a disaster and the living room because i am still waiting for my couches.

Great new house, Anne! It seems to have such wonderful light, and I'm in love with your sunroom (Ok, and the entry). Love the bedroom pastels & curtains too. The boys must be snug as bugs in their sleeping niche, and you are a cool mom to let them decorate their own shelves :)

How did you find this house?! When we looked at houses up that way - we saw some of the oldest, run-down, so not cute homes! You have a knack...but seriously, was it word of mouth, because this home is amazingly finished & so many we saw were rentals were people didn't want to update because they could still get renters in even with how it looked!

Very darling - you always do a fabulous job with your decorating!

Looks amazing Annie, love the guest bedroom- the bushes right by the window look so pretty too. Baby's room is ridiculous- love that piece with the mirror panel- where did you find that. Such nice, meaningful touches all over the room:) Hope to see it in person sometime soon! Boys room is great- didn't know you took the bunks down- i like it. Shelves are awesome- looks like something you order out of PB.

You have some sort of housing fairy watching over you Anne! I have never seen anyone have such tremendous luck with Westchester rentals. Seriously! Your place is fabulous, and of course all of your little touches make it more so.

This is the big week! I am so excited for you.

I am such a voyeur - I think I could be happy if all I did was stare into other people's houses all day long. So thanks for giving me a look into yours! I feel like I see a part of you in every room. :) Hopefully I'll get to visit in person one day!

In a decorating world of pottery barns, your house stands out. It is gorgeous without being gaudy, and is such a great reflection of YOU. I love, love, love it. :))
