thanks, omi!

during the boys' winter break from school we were lucky enough to visit omi in palm springs, CA.  craig was able to be with us for 3 whole days (which in investment banker time is equivalent to 7) and we all had so much fun.  the boys and i were there for a whole week and it felt like two.  it was beautiful and sunny and just what we all needed.  our first day there, my mom sent craig and me out on a much needed date while she watched the boys for us.  here are a few photos of the trip.

How fun! I'm sure that being away from home and able to just relax was just what the Dr. ordered! I'm so glad you two got to have a date - that must be so hard to arrange these days. Great pictures, you guys are so adorable!

The boys look so different with their long hair...adorable and so much older looking. I love the picture of Omi and the kids in the golf cart and the one of Jim and Sy is too cute. Glad that Craig was able to come out for a couple days so you could be a family!

That sounds so incredibly nice right now. Your boys crack me up! I can't believe how fast they're growing up though. I'm glad Craig got to join you for at least a bit. Glad you were able to get away.

I cannot and will not get over these children with hair. They have been bald blond eagles for 5 & 7 years and now, all of the sudden they have thick, long dark hair. I can barely handle this. Love the pics... Sy and Jim are too cute together, especially in their jammies. ...and lucky me gets to go there in a week.

Looks like a great week! And is that "little Karl" in the old Navy t-shirt? I can't believe how much that shot looks like Karl Reichstetter!
