as we were packing up our provo home, craig and i decided to pack away all the thomas the train die cast trains and tracks and stations (we have a ton of it) because the boys weren't playing with it very often and we were going to be short on space. when we moved into our new apartment we put the box of trains in the attic. well...for the last 4 days sy has been begging us to get them down so i finally gave in yesterday morning and the boys (especially sy) have been happy to have some familiar faces around. i have even made some space for the tub of trains in my closet...if that's not love, i don't know what is.
in the spirit of reminiscing, i pulled some old photos of sy's love affair with thomas (i skipped photos of the thomas birthday cake, the multiple "day out with thomas" events, the halloween when he dressed up as thomas, and many, many more).
it all started when he was barely 3...
thomas and friends went everywhere, including camping...
sy was always awesome at creating tracks all by himself. exhibits "A" & "B"...
he may have still been in diapers...but he built tracks like a man.

That's amazing devotion!! You should submit this to a Thomas fan club- he should win a prize. Those earlier pics are so cute.
Sy and his Thomas trains! He's loved those as long as I can remember. And because your "big boy" Sy loved Thomas, Addi also loves everything Thomas. :)
I LOVE the picture of Sy where you can see Soren's cute chubby face poking out in the portacrib. Awesome.
