i must confess that i did not make all the decorations. the 2 newspaper medallions and the coffee filters on the light are from the SPARK event i attended. now that that's out of the way...
around the doors i just used some of my sewing supplies like strips of fabric, tulle, crocheted trims, and ribbon. i stuck flowers cut out of vintage postcards onto the ribbon. the top row is just doilies folded over a piece of string.
this is the spread before all the other food arrived
thanks to my sister, pam, i have access to some amazing cookie recipes.
and just to add a little more pink, we made little italian sodas for all the guests.
the new arrival's name will be "talyssa" and angie took this banner home with her after the party.
susan...this close-up is for you.
we had a great crowd and hopefully angie felt loved and special!
