was it colonel mustard in the library with the candle stick?

no----it was soren in the living room with the coffee table that left a blood bath on my kitchen floor. the boys learned an important lesson in engineering today...pillows do not good bridges make. and soren has 3 stitches in his little noggin to show for it. he handled the whole thing really well and is now resting comfortably in his bed. meanwhile, my adrenaline rush is just barely beginning to wear off. in the midst of cleaning up the mess on my couch, pillows, floor and clothes i suddenly felt like i was trying to hide a crime scene before the feds showed up-----it's not easy erasing all the evidence! alas, i have no photos because the happy hiker has the camera. i will leave you, instead, with this photo of soren's scarless forehead ogling some of my sister's ridiculously delicious sugar cookies.

I still feel weak in the knees and faint when I hear the story - don't know how you handled it so smoothly! Hope Soren is doing well and tell him that Alex and Paris were very sorry to hear about what happened and very worried about him!!

Wow, Craig is really going to have to do some serious sucking up when he returns! So glad that things weren't worse and that your little cutie is happily snoozing. Chicks dig scars, right?

if it's any consolation, Craig was rained on EVERY day of his hike. May the water rat come home with his tail 'tween his knees, don'tcha know.

Aw, poor Soren. Make sure his Daddy shows him the scar he has from running into grandpa's stone wall. It was a gusher (sounds like Soren's!) At least we just let the rain clean up the mess. So sorry Anne.

Glad Soren is recovering.

Are those the first stitches in the family? I was surprised that Abby was the first in of our kids to get a broken arm - I thought for sure Collin would have been first...

no--sy had stitches less than a year ago---also when craig was out of town. very suspicious.

Seriously? Guh. I'm SO sorry. We have yet to wander down the bloody trail of boyhood. Poo, we do, pee, all the time, but blood messes, not just yet. I'm SO sorry.

Adventure awaits at the Anderson household! That sounds super fun! I would have prefered a pic of you nervously washing the blood off your hands -- crime scene moments are great!

Very funny detail about a not so funny happening. I'm just shaking my head at craig right now.

Banannie--thanks for playing my game. Did I really go out that much? Our freshman year was all such a blur, I can't really remember going on that many dates. My first memory of you was Kiki coming into my room and telling me her roommate wasn't a member. And we had our work cut out for us ;-). Then driving to your baptism with like 10 of us in my brother's blue Blazer and surprising you. What a blast. Winnepesake or Bust!
