a farewell to fire ants...

although i do still find myself flinching at anything that crawls, i am always relieved to find that it is usually just a spider or regular silly little ant as opposed to the scorpions and little biting bastards of yesteryear. we are really enjoying it here in good old provo. we are almost completely settled and sy even had his first little friend over to play today. craig and i did our first shift as ward librarians at church on sunday and it was awesome. in fact, we are pretty sure that a sassier pair of ward librarians has never existed. we even chanted "hot librarians in the hallway" on the way to sunday school-----only because the hallway was empty and no one could hear us. but it was quite a show. our house is great. so far we have had our washing machine plumbing back up, our downstairs bathroom plumbing back up, our air conditioner stop working, our garage door opener go on the fritz and our sewer back up into our house. this is all great because we are renting and none of this has been our problem to fix. one little phone call and poof!----magic man manager makes it all better. renting is good. craig takes off on another hiking adventure on tuesday and then real life starts as soon as he gets back. i am excited for school to start for all and for the routines to kick in.

Oh, wow, look at that beautiful, soft grass!!! BTW, do you happen to know of any realtors in that neck of the woods? Or a good place to find a house to rent? If so, e-mail me at christx@suddenlink.net!

That picture of Soren is hilarious- both those boys are capable of quite the looks :) Very funny librarian story!

We had fun with your boys playing in that exact spot in July. So sad you weren't there too! Missing you...
