We made it!

We are alive!..... and we did successfully make it to Provo. We wanted to update the world a lot sooner on but since we still don't have an internet connection at home, that has proven to be a bit problematic.

Packing was..... well, packing. Hours and hours of loading boxes, wondering where all this stuff came from, and wondering how we were going to find things when we got to our new place. We were able to corral (i.e. cage) the boys while packing though. I highly recommend this approach if you actually want to be productive.

Our drive to Provo went very well. We took it pretty slowly and stopped to see a few sites along the way. Soren wished he could have ridden with Gilbert (the nice mover we had from L.A.) in his truck.

Along the way we stopped at Carlsbad Caverns near Carlsbad, New Mexico. If is basically this monstrous, underground cave loaded with cool rock formations. As you can see, we made sure to show some Texas pride.

We also stopped as the Chaco Culture National Park. It is a relatively small and unknown National Park but it is loaded with ruins from the Native Americans who lived in the four corners area hundreds and thousands of years ago. I had been there before and love picturing the original inhabitants in my mind's eye.

As you can see the boys liked it too..... or they were just tired of the road trip....
