Go Sox!

So... the day I arrived in London was when Game 7 of the ALCS was going to be played against the Cleveland Indians. We had been down 3-1 in the series and were back in Fenway for the deciding game. Common sense would suggest that 1:00am start time would rule out watching the game. I, of course, was never one for common sense and was up until 5:00am watching the Red Sox seal the deal.

Believe it or not. I bought both of these hats (they were identical) about 4-5 years ago on the same day. I begrudgingly decided to retire one just before leaving for London. Can you guess which one? At least, now I don't have to wonder if people can smell my hat when I am near them.

Anway, I couldn't watch Game 1 of the World Series in London with a good conscience because the next day I had two presentations for a conference. However, I was flying home on Friday so Thursday night was fair game! I found a place where the ballgame would be showing, the Sports Cafe (right off Trafalga Square), and headed over by myself. As expected there was a good sized crowd watching the game and when it comes to sports it is always easy to make a few fast friends!

Yeah, Craig. I'm probably the ONLY woman I know who has watched more of the World Series than the guys in her house!

GO SOCKS! Clean sweep!?!?!?
